Pulse is a horror film that follows the story of a group of college students who are faced with a terrifying and deadly threat after their computer hacker friend accidentally channels a mysterious wireless signal. The signal seems to have a life of its own and is spreading like a virus, infecting and killing anyone who comes into contact with it.
As the group begins to investigate the source of the signal, they discover that it is coming from a website known as "The Realm," which was created by a university professor who was attempting to create a way for the dead to communicate with the living. However, he had unwittingly opened a gateway for a malevolent force to enter our world.
The students soon find themselves isolated and trapped as the signal continues to spread, causing people to become suicidal and leading to the collapse of society. As they struggle to survive, they must find a way to stop the evil force behind the signal from taking over the world and destroying everything they know and love.
