PSYCHO-PASS Sinners of the System: Case.1 - Crime and Punishment is the first installment of a new movie project based on the popular anime series PSYCHO-PASS. The story takes place in a dystopian future where a system called the Sybil System monitors the mental state of individuals in order to prevent crime before it happens.
The movie focuses on a young inspector named Arata Shindo who is investigating a series of crimes committed by a group of individuals with extremely high crime coefficients. Crime coefficients are measurements of an individual's potential to commit a crime based on their mental state.
As Arata delves deeper into the case, he discovers that the individuals involved were all former Enforcers, who were once employed by the Sybil System to take down criminals with high crime coefficients. However, they were all dismissed from their positions for various reasons and are now seeking revenge against the Sybil System.
With the help of his partner Kei Mikhail Ignatov, Arata must navigate through the complex web of conspiracies and deceit surrounding the case while trying to maintain his own sense of justice and morality. The movie features high-octane action sequences, memorable characters, and a thought-provoking storyline that challenges the audience's perceptions of justice and morality.
