Psychomania is a British horror film that was released in 1973. The film follows a gang of young bikers who call themselves the Living Dead. The gang is led by a delinquent named Tom Latham, who is obsessed with death and the afterlife.
One day, Tom discovers that his mother made a deal with the devil before she died, promising her son eternal life if he were to kill himself and believe in his ability to come back to life. Tom is convinced that this is the key to immortality, and he shares the secret with his gang.
The Living Dead begins a reign of terror, killing anyone who stands in their way. They commit suicide one after another, firmly believing that they will return as undead beings. Sure enough, they do come back to life, but with a twist. They are now invincible zombies, but they are also bound to a life of servitude to Satan.
The Living Dead takes their killing spree to a whole new level, wreaking havoc on the small town and its inhabitants. However, Tom starts to lose control as his ambitions clash with those of his followers, leading to a bitter power struggle within the gang.
The film ends with a climactic battle between the Living Dead and the forces of good, as Tom tries to redeem himself in the eyes of his girlfriend and mother by making a final heroic sacrifice.
