Prom Pact follows the story of Mandy, a straight-A student who is determined to get into Harvard. She spends most of her time studying and has never been interested in prom or anything related to it. However, her best friend Ben is thrilled about prom and has been eagerly waiting for someone to ask him out.
As prom season approaches, Mandy and Ben start receiving elaborate "promposals" from their peers. Though Mandy is not interested, Ben is desperate to go to prom and is waiting for someone to ask him out. Meanwhile, Mandy is offered a chance to tutor Graham, a basketball all-star, to help him pass his exams so he can continue playing.
As Mandy starts to work with Graham, she discovers that he is a genuinely nice person, despite his popular star athlete reputation. As they continue to spend time together, Mandy finds herself developing feelings for him. However, her dream school Harvard is still her top priority.
Mandy must decide whether to pursue her dream school or take a chance on a new relationship. She discovers that following her heart may come at a cost and re-evaluates what she truly values in life.
Throughout the film, there are also various subplots involving other characters dealing with their own prom-related dramas and deciding what they want out of life. In the end, Mandy must make a decision that will impact the rest of her life.
