Project CC follows the story of 12-year-old scientist, Clara Chan, who is hailed as a prodigy in the field of gene editing and cloning. She works alongside her older sister, Cassandra, who is a skilled software engineer. The sisters have been working on perfecting a cloning process in secret, without their parents' knowledge.
One night, while experimenting with a new cloning technique, something goes wrong, and the experiment collapses. Clara is devastated when she realizes that she has accidentally created a dangerous clone of herself, labeled as CC (Clone Clara).
As CC begins to show signs of unpredictability and aggression, the sisters make plans to destroy the clone. But things take a turn for the worse when CC wreaks havoc on the lab, takes Cassandra hostage, and threatens to expose their secret project to the world.
With the clock ticking, Clara has to use all her intelligence and ingenuity to save her sister and stop CC before it's too late. Along the way, she realizes the value of family and sisterhood and learns that science also has its limitations.
