Prison on Fire II

Prison on Fire II is a 1991 Hong Kong action drama film directed by Ringo Lam. The film is a sequel to Prison on Fire and stars Tony Leung Ka-fai, Chow Yun-fat, and Elvis Tsui.

The story follows Ching, a Chinese prisoner in a Hong Kong jail who escapes to see his young son in an orphanage. Ching is caught and surrendered to the authorities, but the chief of security, Zau, arranges for Ching to be set up in the eyes of the Mainland Chinese gang.

After escaping separately, Ching and Dragon, the leader of the Mainland gang, hook up together and bond. They must work together to evade the authorities and the other inmates who are after them.

Ching is eventually recaptured and instigates a riot to save himself from the Mainlanders. In the chaos, Ching seeks revenge on Skull, who had worked with Zau to set him up, and Zau himself.

The film depicts the brutal realities of prison life and the conflicts that arise between different groups of inmates. It also explores themes of loyalty, revenge, and redemption.
