The movie Priest is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and vampires have been at war for centuries. The Church, a powerful organization, has built walled cities to protect the remaining human population from the vampires.
The veteran Warrior Priest (played by Paul Bettany) is a highly trained fighter who used to serve the Church and protect humans from vampires. He now lives in obscurity with other humans inside one of the walled cities.
When the Priest's niece (played by Lily Collins) is kidnapped by vampires, the Priest breaks his vows and sets out to rescue her. He is accompanied by the niece's boyfriend, a wasteland sheriff named Hicks (played by Cam Gigandet), and a former Warrior Priestess (played by Maggie Q).
Together, the three venture into the vampire-infested wastelands to save the Priest's niece. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and obstacles, including a group of humans who have allied with the vampires.
As they get closer to their goal, the Priest begins to realize that the vampires are not what he thought they were, and he must decide whether to continue fighting them or to change his beliefs and help usher in a new era of peace between humans and vampires.
