In Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, Wayne and Lanny are elite elves who work for the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center. Their job is to ensure that every child wakes up to a perfectly prepared household on Christmas morning. As the Big 2-5 approaches, they receive a distress signal from the North Pole's Research and Development department. The department's amazing Christmas technology has been stolen by a naughty kid who is using it for his own nefarious purposes.
Wayne and Lanny are tasked with retrieving the stolen technology to prevent chaos from descending on Christmas morning. To accomplish this, Wayne enlists the help of his estranged brother, Noel. Noel is a bombastic member of the Coal Bucket Brigade, a group of elves responsible for warning children who are flirting with naughty behavior that they are in danger of receiving coal for Christmas.
Noel initially refuses to help his brother, citing past grievances and perceived slights. Eventually, however, he agrees to join Wayne and Lanny in their mission. The trio set off on an adventure that takes them through a series of exciting and dangerous obstacles, including a hazardous snowstorm and underground caverns filled with traps.
As they navigate these treacherous obstacles, Wayne, Lanny, and Noel slowly reconcile their differences and bond over their shared love of Christmas. In the end, they successfully retrieve the stolen technology and save Christmas from disaster.
