Pray for the Wildcats is a 1974 made-for-television movie directed by Robert Michael Lewis. It stars Andy Griffith, William Shatner, and Robert Reed as the ad executives, and Marjoe Gortner as the violent and dangerous client.

The movie begins with the three executives - Warren (Griffith), Sam (Shatner), and Paul (Reed) - being pressured by their boss to take on a new client, who insists on taking them on a motorcycle trip to Baja to pitch his business. The executives reluctantly agree, but from the start, things go wrong as the client, a wealthy and reckless man named J.J. Dalton (Gortner), begins to push them into dangerous activities.

Along the way, the group encounters a young woman named Angie (Angie Dickinson), whom J.J. immediately takes a liking to. However, when Angie rebuffs his advances and her boyfriend tries to defend her, J.J. becomes increasingly violent and unstable.

Later, the group's van breaks down in the middle of the desert, and J.J. decides to disable their bikes, leaving them stranded and vulnerable to the harsh conditions. As they struggle to survive, the executives begin to piece together J.J.'s true nature and the danger they are in.

The tension quickly escalates as J.J. becomes increasingly violent and erratic, leading to a violent confrontation between the group. The movie ends with a thrilling chase sequence as the executives attempt to escape J.J.'s wrath and make it back to safety.

Pray for the Wildcats was praised for its tense plot and strong performances, particularly from Griffith and Shatner. It has since become a cult classic among fans of vintage television drama.
