The film follows Jim (played by Harris Dickinson), a teenager from Essex who moves to London with dreams of becoming an artist. However, he soon finds himself drawn into the world of male escorts, specifically the Raconteurs, led by their charismatic leader, Leon (played by Jonah Hauer-King).

The Raconteurs are not like other traditional male escorts, they specialize in engaging their clients in conversation after sex. Jim is initially hesitant to join, but soon embraces his new lifestyle and becomes one of the group's most sought-after escorts. However, Jim's Stendhal Syndrome, a rare condition that causes him to hallucinate and faint in response to beautiful art, threatens to derail his new life.

As Jim's popularity among London's wealthiest and most influential men grows, he also becomes embroiled in a plot to uncover art forgeries in the city's hottest galleries. The film explores themes of art, sexuality, and authenticity against the backdrop of London's vibrant Soho district.

Directed by Steve McLean, Postcards from London is a visually stunning film that juxtaposes the beauty of classic art with the seedy underbelly of the escort industry. The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2018 and received critical acclaim for its stunning cinematography and strong performances.
