The movie Porno follows the story of a group of five teenagers who work at a small-town movie theater in the 1990s. They stumble upon a film reel hidden in the basement and decide to watch it after hours. However, what they didn't know was that the film was cursed and contained a succubus, a demon who seduces men at night and feeds on their sexual energy.
As the succubus starts to manipulate their desires and expose them to their deepest sexual fantasies, the teens begin to challenge their religious beliefs and struggle with the guilt and shame associated with their sexual urges. One of the characters, Chastity, is particularly conflicted as she is a devout Christian who is saving herself for marriage.
The succubus, played by Katelyn Pearce, becomes more powerful as the teens indulge in their sexual desires, leading to a series of gory and outrageous deaths. The group then realizes that they must find a way to banish the demon before it's too late.
The film explores themes such as sexuality, religion, guilt, and shame in a darkly comedic and horror-infused way. Directed by Keola Racela and written by Matt Black and Laurence Vannicelli, Porno was released in 2019 and received positive reviews from critics.
