Poolhall Junkies is a 2002 film starring Mars Callahan as Johnny, a former pool hustler who has given up his life of hustling after a traumatic experience where he accidentally killed someone during a robbery. Instead, he has settled into a normal life working at a small liquor store in Los Angeles.

However, Johnny's world is turned upside down when his younger brother, Danny (played by Callahan's real-life brother, Michael), gets in over his head with a dangerous and skilled pool hustler named Joe (played by Chazz Palminteri). Danny owes Joe a large sum of money after losing a game, and Joe is not the type to just let him walk away.

Feeling responsible for his brother's predicament, Johnny reluctantly agrees to take on Joe in a high-stakes game of pool. To help prepare for the game, Johnny enlists the help of his former mentor and friend, Nick (played by Christopher Walken), who also happens to be a legendary pool player.

As Johnny trains for the game, he must confront his own demons and the urge to return to his old hustling ways. He also has to navigate the dangerous world of high-stakes pool, where cheating and sharking are rampant.

The film culminates in a tense game between Johnny and Joe, with Danny's life and Johnny's redemption on the line. Without giving away the ending, Poolhall Junkies is a thrilling and entertaining ride that explores the dark and seductive world of pool hustling.
