In the movie, Pooh and his friends discover that there is a Heffalump living in the Hundred Acre Wood. They become scared of the unknown creature and decide to capture it. Roo, Kanga's son, is the only one who is curious and wants to befriend the Heffalump. He sets out on his own to find it, and eventually befriends a young Heffalump named Lumpy. Roo and Lumpy have fun together and learn about each other's worlds, but they are eventually discovered by the other residents of the Hundred Acre Wood who are still scared of Heffalumps. Roo and Lumpy must convince them that Heffalumps are not scary, and they come together in the end for a heartwarming and understanding conclusion. The movie is about accepting differences, making new friends, and facing fears.
