The Legend of Jirachi's Wishful Power

Action,Animation,Adventure,Family  Japan,United States of America

The movie begins with Satoshi (Ash Ketchum), Haruka (May), Takeshi (Brock), and Masato (Max) arriving at a festival called the Wishing Star of Seven Nights. The festival is held every thousand years, and it is said that whoever witnesses the seven nights of shooting stars will have their wishes granted. The group is excited to attend the festival, and they meet a fortune teller named Butler, who tells them about the legend of Jirachi, a mythical Pokemon that grants wishes.

During the festival, Jirachi appears, and Masato forms a special bond with the Pokemon. Jirachi has the power to grant wishes, but it can only stay awake for seven days every thousand years. Butler, who is obsessed with Jirachi's power, kidnaps the Pokemon, hoping to harness its powers to revive Groudon, an ancient Pokemon.

Butler plans to use Groudon to create a new world, where he will be the ruler. However, unbeknownst to him, Jirachi's powers have the potential to destroy the world. Satoshi and his friends team up with a teenage girl named Diane, who has a Latios, another mythical Pokemon, to stop Butler from carrying out his plan.

Together, they attempt to rescue Jirachi and prevent Butler from reviving Groudon. In the end, Jirachi sacrifices itself to stop Groudon from wreaking havoc on the world, but not before Masato makes a wish that Jirachi will return one day. The movie ends with Jirachi being sent back into its thousand-year slumber, leaving the group of friends to wonder if they will ever see it again.
