Lily is the young and naive college art student who becomes obsessed with her deceased roommates' identity and personality. She starts to dress and style herself like the former roommate and even changes her name to Ivy.
As Ivy, Lily starts to manipulate situations to get what she wants and begins to attract attention from both her art professor, Donald Falk (played by Xander Berkeley) and her fellow student, Gredin (played by Mitchell Anderson).
Donald is married but is unhappy in his marriage and starts to develop an obsession with Ivy. He begins to shower her with gifts and attention as Ivy uses this to her advantage to get better grades and success in her art class.
Gredin is Ivy's friend but starts to develop feelings for her as she becomes more confident and alluring. Ivy leads him on but ultimately chooses Donald, revealing her true intentions to both men.
As Ivy's lies unravel, she becomes more dangerous and threatening to those around her. The film ends with Ivy's true identity being revealed and the consequences that follow.
