The Englishman in question is Charles, a wealthy businessman who has come to India for a business deal. However, his trip takes a deadly turn when he is bitten by a poisonous snake while sleeping in his tent. His associate, Raj, and a local doctor, Dr. Gupta, are quickly summoned to his aid.
Desperate to save Charles' life, Raj and Dr. Gupta must first identify the type of snake that bit him. With the clock ticking, they race against time to find the right anti-venom and administer it before it's too late. Along the way, they encounter several obstacles, including language barriers and local superstitions.
As they work together to save Charles, Raj and Dr. Gupta also learn more about each other and develop a newfound respect and friendship. Charles eventually recovers and thanks the two for saving his life, but the experience leaves a lasting impact on all of them.
Throughout the film, we also see flashbacks to Raj's childhood and how he became interested in traditional medicine. This subplot adds depth to his character and allows us to better understand his motivations and beliefs.
