Plush is a psychological thriller directed by Catherine Hardwicke and released in 2013. The movie stars Emily Browning as Hayley, a young singer/songwriter who is struggling to move on after the death of her brother and bandmate. Hayley's husband Jack (played by Cam Gigandet) is also their manager, and together they are trying to make a comeback after their last album was a commercial failure.
Things start to change when their new guitarist, Enzo (played by Xavier Samuel), joins the band. Hayley and Enzo quickly bond over their shared love of music, and she finds herself drawn to his charisma and talent. However, it soon becomes clear that Enzo has a dangerous side. He has a history of substance abuse and violence, and he begins to manipulate and threaten those around him in order to gain control.
As Hayley's relationship with Enzo becomes more intense, she begins to lose touch with reality. She starts to experience vivid hallucinations and nightmares that seem to be connected to Enzo's past. Her husband Jack tries to intervene, but he is not able to convince Hayley to distance herself from Enzo.
As the tension builds and the danger escalates, Hayley must confront her own demons and make a choice about who to trust. Plush is a dark and intense thriller that explores the ways in which obsession and desire can lead to destruction.
