Emma is a successful corporate events planner who prides herself on her efficiency and dedication to work. She has no time for love or relationships, preferring to focus solely on her career. However, her sister Miranda's engagement changes everything.
Miranda reveals that her dream wedding is in just six weeks, but she has to travel for work and won't have time to plan it herself. Emma reluctantly agrees to step in and plan the event, determined to make it perfect despite the short time frame.
To her surprise, she discovers that Miranda's fiancé Brett has a best man named Liam, who just happens to be the same Liam she had a disastrous blind date with years ago. Despite their initial awkwardness around each other, Emma and Liam find themselves having to work together closely to make the wedding a success.
