The crew of the rescue mission is made up of a diverse group of individuals, including scientists, engineers, and military personnel. They are sent to the remote planet of Dune, where a research base has been stranded after a catastrophic sandstorm.
Upon arrival, the crew quickly realizes that the planet is not only inhospitable but also deadly. The desert landscape is home to enormous sand worms, aggressive creatures that can sense vibrations from miles away. With no means of contacting the outside world and limited resources, the crew must fight for survival against the predatory worms.
As tensions rise and resources dwindle, the crew begins to turn on each other. Some members want to stay and fight the sand worms, while others want to abandon the mission and flee the planet.
Throughout the movie, we see glimpses of the base's previous inhabitants, including a skilled warrior who may hold the key to surviving the sand worms. But as the crew is hunted, it becomes clear that they are not the only dangerous beings on the planet. A rogue group of survivors from the stranded base has turned to cannibalism, and they will stop at nothing to stay alive.
In a final showdown, the remaining members of the rescue crew must band together to fight both the sand worms and the cannibals, all while finding a way to escape the planet and making it back home alive.
