Thriller  Israel,Germany

Plan A is a German drama film directed by Doron Paz and Yoav Paz. The movie is based on a true story and explores the aftermath of the Holocaust, where a group of Jewish survivors decides to take revenge on the Nazis who killed their families and destroyed their lives.

Max, the protagonist played by August Diehl, is a survivor of a concentration camp. He, along with several other survivors, becomes part of a radical group that is planning a large-scale revenge attack on the German population. The group decides to poison the water supply of a major German city, which will result in the deaths of all the inhabitants. The plan seems monstrous, but the group believes that the Germans must pay for the atrocities they committed during the Holocaust.

Max initially hesitates to join the group, as he wants to move on from the past and live a peaceful life. However, he gradually starts identifying with the group's cause and the idea of revenge seems more and more appealing to him. He also befriends one of the group's leaders, played by Israeli actor Tom Wlaschiha, who is charismatic and persuasive.

The group's plan gradually takes shape, and they start collecting the necessary materials for the attack. However, Max's conscience starts to trouble him, and he begins to question whether or not the group's plan is justified. He also starts to worry about the innocent people who will be affected by the attack.

The movie explores themes of revenge, justice, and the moral dilemmas faced by the survivors of the Holocaust. It portrays the trauma that the survivors had to endure and the psychological impact it had on them. The supporting cast includes Antje Traue, Michael Aloni, and Andreas Lust.

Plan A premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021 and received positive reviews. Critics praised the movie for its powerful performances, compelling storyline, and thought-provoking themes.
