Pity Party

Comedy  N/A

As Liza struggles to keep up with the demands of her perfect life and maintain her image on social media, she slowly begins to unravel. Her anxiety and depression reach a breaking point, and she finds herself unable to function. Regan and Kennedy, who have always been jealous of Liza's seemingly perfect life, take advantage of her vulnerability and convince her to throw a "positivity party" for New Years.

At first, Liza is reluctant to go through with the party, but she eventually gives in to her friends' coaxing. However, as the night progresses, Liza's mental state deteriorates, and the party quickly turns into a downward spiral of self-pity and destructive behavior. Meanwhile, a mysterious virus outbreak begins to ravage the city, adding to the chaos and confusion.

As the night wears on, Liza confronts her demons and learns that happiness cannot be found in material possessions or social media validation. She finds true comfort and support in the unlikely friendship of a stranger she meets at the party. Together, they navigate the chaos of the virus outbreak and find hope in the midst of despair.

Pity Party is a darkly humorous and thought-provoking look at the pitfalls of perfectionism, social media, and self-worth. It is a cautionary tale for our times, reminding us that true happiness comes from within and that we are all vulnerable to the unexpected twists and turns of life.
