Pitch Perfect is a 2012 musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore. The movie stars Anna Kendrick as Beca, a reluctant college freshman who initially refuses to join her school's all-female a cappella group, the Barden Bellas. However, after being persuaded by the group's leader, Aubrey (Anna Camp), Beca agrees to attend the group's auditions and is accepted into the group.
The Barden Bellas are a group of misfit girls who are struggling to overcome the stigma of a disastrous performance from the previous year.
