Piranha 3DD is a horror-comedy film that serves as a sequel to the 2010 movie Piranha 3D. The events of the film take place a year after the massacre at Lake Victoria, where a swarm of prehistoric piranhas terrorized the town's residents during spring break.

The film's plot revolves around a newly opened water park named "Big Wet" that features numerous swimming pools and waterslides. The park's owner, Chet, played by David Koechner, is only interested in profit and disregards any safety concerns for the park guests.

However, things take a turn for the worse when the piranhas make their way into the water park's plumbing system and begin to decimate the unsuspecting visitors. The park's lifeguards, played by Ving Rhames and Christopher Lloyd, team up with the town's sheriff, played by Danielle Panabaker, to stop the blood-thirsty fish and save the remaining survivors.

Meanwhile, a group of college students played by Katrina Bowden, Matt Bush, and others, arrive at the water park for a day of fun and quickly find themselves in a fight for their lives as the piranhas wreak havoc.

As the chaos unfolds, it becomes apparent that the piranhas are adapting and evolving, becoming even more dangerous and capable of surviving in new environments.

Piranha 3DD features a mix of gore, humor, and over-the-top action that has become a trademark of the series. The film is directed by John Gulager and also features appearances by Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff, and Paul Scheer.
