V, a highly trained military assassin, has been carrying out missions for years, but is starting to question the morality of his job. One day, while on a mission, he decides to abandon his post and go off-grid. He eventually finds himself in a small town where he meets a family who has suffered a great deal of loss. The mother, Sarah, has recently lost her husband and her young son is struggling to cope with the loss of his father.
V becomes close to the family, helping them in any way he can and forming a bond with Sarah and her son. He starts to believe that he can leave his past behind and live a normal life.
However, V's past soon catches up to him when his former employers, a ruthless military organization, track him down. They want him back and will stop at nothing to get what they want. V's presence puts the entire family in danger, forcing him to use his combat skills to protect them.
As he fights to keep them safe, V must confront his own demons and come to terms with the violence he has inflicted in the past. In the end, he must make a choice: return to a life of killing or risk everything to protect the people he has grown to love.
