Phone Booth is a 2002 thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher, starring Colin Farrell as Stu Shepard, a publicist who finds himself caught in a dangerous game of cat and mouse when he answers a ringing payphone on a busy New York City street.

After answering the phone, Stu realizes the caller (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland) knows everything about him, including his affairs, lies, and secrets. The voice on the other end of the line threatens to kill Stu if he hangs up the phone, and the red dot of a sniper rifle scope hovering just above his head confirms that the threat is real.

As the tension builds, Stu realizes that the caller is punishing him for his selfish behavior and forcing him to confront his actions. Meanwhile, the police, led by Captain Ramey (played by Forest Whitaker), surround the phone booth and try to negotiate Stu's release while also trying to identify the caller's location.

The film is set almost entirely in and around the phone booth, and its claustrophobic atmosphere and intense pacing keep the audience on the edge of their seats. Phone Booth was praised for Farrell's performance and its taut direction, and it remains a popular example of the thriller genre.
