Daniyal and Nawaz face numerous obstacles and challenges along the way, including assassination attempts, betrayal, and political interference.
Phantom received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the performances of the lead actors and the film's tense atmosphere and action sequences, while others criticized its political agenda and lack of depth. The film also courted controversy in Pakistan, where it was banned from theaters for its depiction of Pakistan and its military establishment.
