Penguins: Life on the Edge is a documentary film produced by Disneynature that follows a colony of Adélie penguins as they navigate their lives in one of the most extreme environments on Earth: Antarctica. The film focuses on one particular penguin named Steve, who is struggling to find a mate and raise a family while also dealing with the harsh conditions of his environment.
The film was directed by Alastair Fothergill and Jeff Wilson, who are both experienced wildlife filmmakers known for their work on other nature documentaries such as Planet Earth and Blue Planet.
