One day, while walking her dog, Paulette overhears some young drug dealers discussing their business. She gets the idea to enter the drug trade herself and begins selling cannabis to her fellow elderly neighbors. Soon, her business takes off, and Paulette becomes a neighborhood sensation, earning more money than she ever has before.

However, her newfound success comes with consequences as she becomes embroiled in the dangerous world of drugs. Despite the risks, Paulette refuses to back down and continues to sell cannabis, which ultimately leads her into a showdown with the drug dealers who inspired her.

Paulette features a stunning performance by Bernadette Lafont as the titular character, and the film offers a unique perspective on the issue of poverty and crime in the suburbs of Paris. It is a poignant and humorous story of one woman's quest for financial security in the face of adversity.
