Partysaurus Rex is a Pixar short film that was released in 2012. The story takes place in Bonnie's bathroom, where her trusty toy dinosaur Rex finds himself accidentally left behind after bath time. Feeling lonely and isolated, Rex decides to take matters into his own hands and make some new friends. He meets a group of colorful bath toys, including a rubber duck, a toy boat, and a neon octopus, and together, they decide to throw a party.
Rex is initially hesitant to let loose and have fun, as he's used to being a cautious and rule-following toy. However, he soon realizes that the other bath toys just want to have a good time, and he joins in on the festivities. They turn on the bubble jets, dance to music, and even create a makeshift disco ball out of a flashlight and a disco ball toy.
Things get even more exciting when Bonnie's mom comes in to check on her daughter, and instead finds the toy party in full swing. However, instead of being angry or upset, she joins in on the fun herself, dancing and splashing around with the toys.
In the end, Rex realizes that it's important to let go of his fears and embrace new experiences, even if they're unexpected or outside of his comfort zone. Partysaurus Rex is a heartwarming and humorous tale that celebrates the joy of playfulness and spontaneity.
