Party Mom is a 2018 crime thriller film directed by Stanley Yung. The movie follows a group of teenagers who are planning to have a wild house party while their parents are out of town. One of the girls, Briana, convinces her mother, Lynn, to be the "party mom" and allow them to have the party at their house.
As the party heats up and more people arrive, things quickly spiral out of control. Lynn begins to lose control as well, allowing underage drinking and drug use to go unchecked. When Briana's ex-boyfriend, Hector, shows up with a group of gang members, the party turns violent and chaotic.
As the night wears on, the situation becomes more dangerous, and Lynn's inability to control the situation leads to tragedy. A murder occurs, and Lynn is forced to cover up the crime to protect her daughter from the consequences.
Party Mom is a cautionary tale about the dangers of parental irresponsibility and the consequences that can arise from allowing underage drinking and drug use at a party.
