Adrian is a struggling poet who feels stuck in his life in Romania. He decides to take a leap of faith and move to Spain to start a new life. He arrives in Cordoba with no money and nowhere to stay, but eventually manages to secure a job at a car dealership thanks to a local Romanian man who takes pity on him.
During the day, Adrian works at the dealership, helping to sell cars to customers. At night, he hides away in a small caravan in the parking lot, trying to save as much money as possible to support himself.
One day, Adrian discovers a package in the parking lot with a CD and poster for a flamenco / jazz band. The music captures his imagination, and he becomes obsessed with the band's bass guitarist, Maria.
Adrian manages to attend one of the band's concerts on the beach, and afterward, he and Maria strike up a conversation. They share a connection and begin a passionate relationship, but it's not long before problems arise.
Adrian struggles to balance his new job with his relationship with Maria. She is constantly on tour with the band, and the distance and jealousy begin to take their toll on their relationship. To make matters worse, Adrian becomes entangled in a shady business deal with one of his co-workers at the car dealership, putting himself in danger.
As Adrian navigates his new life in Spain, he must confront a series of surprises and challenges along the way. Through it all, his love for Maria and his belief in the power of poetry carry him forward, even in the darkest moments.
