Parker, portrayed by Jason Statham, is a professional thief who has a unique code of ethics. He only commits crimes against those who deserve it, and he never steals from anyone who cannot afford the loss. Parker is part of a crew of thieves who are planning a major heist in Ohio.
When the crew double-crosses Parker during the heist, they leave him for dead. Although Parker survives, he plans his revenge against the crew. He assumes a new identity and travels to Palm Beach, Florida, where the crew is planning their next heist.
Parker teams up with a local woman named Leslie (Jennifer Lopez) to get closer to the crew and figure out their plan. Leslie is a struggling real estate agent who dreams of a better life, and she sees Parker as her ticket to a better future. Although Parker is initially dismissive of Leslie, he comes to rely on her skills and knowledge of the area.
Together, Parker and Leslie plan to hijack the crew's latest heist and take the money for themselves. However, things become complicated when the crew discovers that Parker is still alive and in pursuit of their score. The two groups engage in a tense game of cat-and-mouse, with Parker and Leslie fighting for their lives as they try to outsmart the ruthless criminals.
In the end, Parker and Leslie manage to escape with the money, but not before facing numerous obstacles and dangerous situations.
