Paris-Manhattan

Comedy,Romance  France

Alice is a pharmacist in Paris who is obsessed with Woody Allen and often gives his movies as prescriptions to her customers who are struggling with relationship issues. Her family, especially her sister Hélène, tries to convince her to find a real partner instead of living in a fantasy world.

One day, Alice meets Pierre in a night-club. Pierre is a man who is a polar opposite of Alice; he doesn't understand her love for Woody Allen and isn't interested in the movies she recommends. But they both feel a connection and start dating.

As their relationship progresses, Alice introduces Pierre to her family. Pierre is immediately smitten with Hélène, and Alice becomes jealous and paranoid that Pierre is more interested in her sister than her.

Meanwhile, Alice's father is struggling with his own relationship issues after his wife leaves him. Alice's mother, who is a big Woody Allen fan, helps him overcome his depression by giving him Allen's movies to watch.

As Alice and Pierre's relationship reaches a breaking point, they attend a Woody Allen film festival together where they realize their differences are irreconcilable. Alice ultimately decides to move on from Pierre and embrace her obsession with Woody Allen.

The film is a heartwarming romantic comedy that celebrates the healing power of cinema and the joy of true love.
