Parched 2: Hangry is a horror-comedy film that follows a group of friends and social media influencers who rent an Airbnb lake house to party and create content. The group includes the main influencer, her best friend, a couple, and a random guy who they met online. While at the house, they engage in typical party activities and document it all on social media.
However, things take a turn for the worse when an employee of the nearby chemical plant accidentally drops an experimental appetite stimulant into the lake. Unaware of what has happened, the group decides to go for a swim in the lake. When they emerge from the water, they realize that they are insatiably hungry and unable to control their cravings.
As the night progresses, the group's hunger intensifies, and they start to turn on each other, resorting to cannibalism to quench their insatiable hunger. The film becomes a terrifying battle for survival as the group struggles to find a way to satisfy their hunger without resorting to eating each other.
Throughout the film, there are also comedic moments as the group tries to document their situation on social media, even as they spiral out of control. Parched 2: Hangry is a thrilling and often hilarious horror film that will leave audiences gasping and laughing in equal measures.
