Paradise Broken is a gritty crime drama that follows two drug addicts, Anita and Van, as they navigate the dangerous underworld of Waikiki in their quest to break free from their addiction and make a better life for themselves. Anita is a stripper who dreams of opening her own dance studio, while Van is a small-time drug dealer trying to scrape together enough money to leave Hawaii and start anew.
Their plans are complicated when Anita's ex-boyfriend, a ruthless pimp named Kimo, enters the picture. Kimo is jealous of Anita's relationship with Van and will stop at nothing to get her back under his control. As the two lovers try to escape Kimo's reach, they also have to contend with rival drug dealers and corrupt cops who see them as easy targets.
