Pandorum is a 2009 sci-fi thriller directed by Christian Alvart and starring Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster as the two main characters, Lt. Payton and Corporal Bower. The film takes place in the future when humans have depleted Earth's resources and sent a massive spacecraft named Elysium on a 123-year journey to a distant planet called Tanis to establish a new home for humanity.

The story begins with Lt. Payton and Corporal Bower waking up from their hypersleep chambers with no memory of who they are or what their mission is. They are the only ones awake on the ship, and they soon discover that something is not right. The ship is damaged, the power is failing, and they can't communicate with mission control on Earth. Their only hope is to navigate their way through the labyrinthine ship to reach the bridge and figure out what happened.

As they explore the ship, they encounter strange and terrifying creatures that seem to be hunting them. They also find evidence of a mutiny that occurred on the ship and encounter a group of survivors led by a man named Manh (played by Eddie Rouse). Manh tells them that the ship is in chaos, and the creatures are not the only danger they face. Pandorum, a psychological condition caused by extended space travel, is affecting the crew, driving some of them insane and causing them to harm others.

As Lt. Payton and Corporal Bower continue their journey to the bridge, they discover the truth about their mission and the horrifying fate that befell the previous crew. The film's climax is a tense and action-packed race against time as the two heroes try to save themselves and the remaining survivors before the ship's reactor explodes.

Overall, Pandorum is a gripping and intense sci-fi thriller with excellent performances by Quaid and Foster, impressive special effects, and a well-crafted plot that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
