The film is set in the mid-1980s in Harlem, New York. Ace is a hardworking young man who is trying to make a legitimate living. However, his friend Mitch, who is a drug dealer, is able to tempt him into the world of drug dealing.
After finding a stash of cocaine, Ace starts selling it for his new boss Lulu. He quickly becomes successful at it, attracting the attention of other dealers and criminals who want a piece of his success.
Ace is able to navigate these dangerous waters and rises to the top of the drug world with the help of his loyal friend and partner, Calvin. They enjoy the luxuries that come with wealth and power, including expensive cars and jewelry.
