Oxalis is a psychological thriller movie directed by Guillermo Barreira. The story follows a father named Santiago (played by Rodrigo Guirao Diaz) who lost his son in a violent crime. Driven by revenge and desperation, Santiago devises a twisted plan to identify his son's killer.
His plan involves luring three young men (played by Facundo Gambandé, Emanuel Ntaka, and Alejo Mango) to his house for an experiment. Santiago has developed a serum made from the rare and poisonous Oxalis plant, which he injects into the men. The serum induces a state of psychosis and hallucinations, enabling Santiago to test each man's guilt or innocence based on their reactions to the drug.
As the experiment progresses, the men's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent. Meanwhile, Santiago's wife and daughter become concerned about his obsessive behavior and the strange events happening in their home.
