Overnight Delivery is a romantic comedy film that was released in 1998. The movie stars Paul Rudd as Wyatt Tripps, a college student who suspects his girlfriend, Kimberly (Christine Taylor), is cheating on him while he is away for the summer. In a fit of anger, Wyatt has an anonymous letter sent to Kimberly informing her of his suspicions and breaking up with her.

The next day, Wyatt realizes that he made a mistake and wants to stop the letter from being delivered. However, the delivery man, Gordon (Larry Drake), informs Wyatt that the letter is already in transit and there is nothing he can do to stop it. Desperate to prevent a disaster, Wyatt and his friend, Billy (Bill Bellamy), embark on a cross-country trip to intercept the delivery package.

As they travel from Nebraska to Texas, Wyatt and Billy encounter a series of obstacles and misadventures, including being chased by the police, getting stranded in the desert, and encountering a quirky family who help them along the way.

Meanwhile, Kimberly receives the letter and decides to seek revenge by publicly humiliating Wyatt at a party. However, as Wyatt and Billy race against time to stop the letter, Wyatt realizes how much he truly loves Kimberly and sets out to win her back.

In the end, Wyatt is able to stop the delivery of the letter and reconcile with Kimberly. The film ends with the couple happily reunited and Gordon, the delivery man, finding love with a woman he meets on his next delivery.
