The movie Overheard 2 is a Hong Kong crime thriller and the sequel to the 2009 film Overheard. It is directed by Alan Mak and Felix Chong and stars Louis Koo, Lau Ching-wan, and Daniel Wu.
The plot follows three characters and their connected storylines. Manson Law, played by Lau Ching-wan, is a successful stockbroker who is injured in a car accident. The police, led by Inspector Jack Ho, played by Louis Koo, investigate the accident and discover a military surveillance device in the car wreck. As they dig deeper, they realize that there may be more to the accident than meets the eye.
Meanwhile, wiretapper Joe Szema, played by Daniel Wu, is planning a large-scale operation to target the Landlord Club, a mysterious financial conglomerate. His plan involves wiretapping and surveillance and could potentially bring down the entire stock market. However, he soon realizes that he is not the only one with eyes on the Landlord Club and is forced to dodge several attempts on his life.
As the movie progresses, the three storylines become intertwined and the characters are drawn deeper into a dangerous game that involves betrayal, corruption, and danger at every turn. The movie is filled with suspense, thrills, and unexpected twists that keep the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end.
