Our Sunhi is a 2013 South Korean film directed by Hong Sang-soo. The story follows Sunhi, a film school graduate who returns to her alma mater to get a letter of recommendation from her former professor, Professor Choi. Sunhi is planning to move to the US to continue her studies there.
While in school, Sunhi runs into two of her former classmates, Moon-soo and Jae-hak. Moon-soo has recently become a film director and he's looking for Sunhi to act in his new movie. Jae-hak, on the other hand, is a senior director who takes an interest in Sunhi and starts to pursue her romantically.
As Sunhi spends time with Moon-soo and Jae-hak, she begins to question her own desires and ambitions. She wonders if she really wants to leave for the US and pursue a career in filmmaking or if she should stay in Korea and explore a romance with Jae-hak.
Throughout the film, Sunhi navigates her relationships with Moon-soo and Jae-hak, while also trying to figure out her own path in life. The movie is a subtle exploration of love, ambition, and the choices we make as we try to find our place in the world.
