India is a struggling single mother who moves into a small flat in the city with her young daughter. She hopes that this new start will help her leave behind the troubled past she has had so far. India wants to make a better life for her daughter and is determined to find employment and meet the rent of her new flat. However, the pressure of these responsibilities takes a toll on her mental well-being.
One day, while exploring the new flat, India and her friend come across a dusty old box, and inside it, they find a Ouija board. India's friend convinces her to experiment with the board as a way to distract her from the stresses of her daily life. Unknown to them, they have awakened an evil entity that has been dormant for years. Soon, mysterious deaths start happening around them, and the two women are convinced that they have brought an evil spirit into their home.
As the events around them spiral out of control, India seeks the help of a paranormal expert who confirms their fears - they have opened a portal to the other side, and the spirit that they have summoned is not just evil, but also powerful enough to destroy them.
India must now fight for her life and the safety of her daughter, while racing against time to close the portal before it's too late. Will she succeed, or will the Ouija board open the way to an unimaginable horror?
