Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, also known as OSS 117, is a suave but clueless French spy who is sent to Rio de Janeiro to obtain microfilms that contain important information about a group of former Nazis who are planning to reignite the Fourth Reich. The microfilms are in the hands of a mysterious and elusive German named Schenker, who is rumoured to be living in Rio.
OSS 117 soon finds out that he is not the only one after Schenker - the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, is also on his tail. They have sent their top agent, the beautiful and capable Dolores Koulechov, to assist OSS 117 in his mission.
OSS 117 and Koulechov team up, but tensions arise due to their vastly different approaches to espionage. While OSS 117 relies on his charms and wit to get the job done, Koulechov is more methodical and serious. Despite their differences, the two spies manage to track down Schenker, but not before encountering various obstacles and humorous mishaps.
As they get closer to Schenker, OSS 117 and Koulechov find themselves embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a group of former Nazis who will stop at nothing to protect Schenker and the microfilms. In the end, OSS 117 and Koulechov must use all of their skills and resources to outsmart their enemies and retrieve the microfilms before it's too late.
