OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies is a French spy comedy film, directed by Michel Hazanavicius and released in 2006. The movie is a parody of the 1950s spy films, featuring the fictional French secret agent, Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath, codenamed as OSS 117.

Set in the 1950s, the movie follows OSS 117's missions in Cairo, Egypt, where he is sent to investigate the death of his fellow agent, Jack Jefferson. While investigating the murder, OSS 117 uncovers a secret plot by a group of Nazis to rule the Middle East.

Throughout the film, OSS 117 also finds time to indulge in his love for local beauties, with hilarious results. He develops a romantic relationship with a seductive Egyptian woman named Larmina, who convinces him to try local foods (including a dish made with raw camel liver and a powdered aphrodisiac) and teaches him about Arab culture.

As OSS 117 battles the Nazis and their collaborators, he also brings peace to the region by convincing various factions, including the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, to lay down their weapons and embrace peace.

Overall, OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies is a funny, slapstick movie that pokes fun at the clichés of spy films while providing an entertaining story with some genuinely surprising plot twists. The film won the César Award for Best Writing and was followed by a sequel, OSS 117: Lost in Rio.
