In Open Season 2, Elliot joins his friends Boog, McSquizzy, and the others in the woods to celebrate the upcoming wedding between him and Giselle. However, their celebrations are cut short when Mr. Weenie, a sausage dog, is kidnapped by a group of pets who want to return him to his former owners. Elliot and his friends embark on a mission to rescue Mr. Weenie and bring him back to the woods.
The group encounters a variety of obstacles on their journey, including a gang of pets led by a poodle named Fifi, who is determined to prevent them from taking Mr. Weenie back. They also come across a group of mountain lions who try to stop them.
As they continue on their quest, they soon realize that Mr. Weenie doesn't want to leave his pampered lifestyle and is torn between his loyalty to his new friends and his desire to go back to his old owners. The group must find a way to convince him to stay before it's too late.
In the end, Elliot and his friends are able to rescue Mr. Weenie, but they also learn a valuable lesson about friendship, loyalty, and the importance of staying true to oneself. The movie features the voice talents of Joel McHale, Mike Epps, and Jane Krakowski, among others.
