As Louis Stevens begins teaching Capoeira to the students at his old high school, he faces resistance from both the school administration and some of the students themselves. However, he persists and eventually gains the respect of the students who are eager to learn this new martial art. Together, they form a team called the "Dragon's Den" and train to compete in a local Capoeira championship.
But their progress is threatened when drug lord Silverio, who has a hold over the school and the surrounding community, sees the students as a threat to his business. He sends his henchmen to attack the Dragon's Den and Stevens must use his skills to protect his students and keep them on the right path.
Through the challenges they face, the students learn the values of discipline, respect, and hard work that Capoeira instills. Ultimately, their dedication and hard work pays off as they compete in the championship and prove that they are capable of achieving great things.
