Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior is a 2003 Thai martial arts film directed by Prachya Pinkaew. The film stars Tony Jaa as Ting, a young man from a rural village in Thailand who has been trained in martial arts. Ting is sent to Bangkok after the head of Ong Bak, a Buddha statue that is the protector of the village, is stolen by criminals.

In Bangkok, Ting befriends a petty thief named Humlae (Petchtai Wongkamlao) who helps him navigate the city's seedy underworld. Ting discovers that the head of Ong Bak has been sold to a ruthless crime lord named Komtuan (Suchao Pongwilai) who uses it as a symbol of his power.

Ting enters Komtuan's underground fighting arena to challenge the crime lord's fighter, and win back the head of Ong Bak. Ting's fighting prowess attracts the attention of Komtuan's henchmen and he is forced to fight some of the toughest fighters from around the world to survive.

Ting uses his Muay Thai skills to defeat his opponents, and in the end he faces off against Komtuan himself in a brutal showdown. Along the way, Ting and Humlae also discover a human trafficking ring, which they work to dismantle.
