The competition to find Roger's treasure is not just a physical battle, but also revolves around the ability to decipher clues and solve puzzles. The Straw Hat crew faces tough challenges from their competitors, with each challenge pushing crew members to their limits.
The new enemy, Bullet, is a powerful fighter who has the ability to manipulate gravity. His ultimate goal is to become the strongest pirate and rule the seas. Bullet's backstory is revealed throughout the film, as well as his connection to the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.
The movie is directed by Takashi Otsuka and features animation from Toei Animation. It was released in Japan in August 2019, and later in North America in October 2019. One Piece: Stampede received positive reviews for its fast-paced action, stunning animation, and fan-service moments that pay homage to the long-running anime series.
