The Dead End Competition is an underground pirate race held every few years. The winner is promised a huge cash prize, which is the main reason why the Straw Hats decide to enter the competition. However, they soon realize that they are not the only ones angling for the prize. Among the rival competitors are several legendary pirate crews and individuals, including Gasparde and his crew.
Gasparde, who was once a Marine captain, has become a notorious pirate with a bounty of 95 million berries on his head. He is ruthless, and is willing to do whatever it takes to win the competition. His ultimate goal is to use the prize money to fund his own pirate kingdom.
As the race progresses, the Straw Hats encounter various obstacles and challenges, including treacherous weather conditions and other competitors who are determined to stop them. Things come to a head when they finally confront Gasparde and his crew in a final battle. The Straw Hats are severely outmatched, but they refuse to give up, knowing that the fate of the competition—and their own survival—depends on their victory.
In the end, the Straw Hats emerge victorious, but not before experiencing some heart-wrenching losses. Along the way, they learn important lessons about teamwork, trust, and the true meaning of friendship.
