The movie One Last Prayer follows the life of James Jensen, a father with a troubled past who struggles with anger management issues. He has a strained relationship with his wife and daughter, and spends his time working at a local garage. One day, he discovers that his daughter has a rare illness that requires expensive treatment which he cannot afford.
Desperate to save his daughter's life, James contemplates returning to his life on the streets where he used to be involved in criminal activities. However, his faith in God drives him to seek an alternative path. He decides to turn to the church and turns over a new leaf, committing to a life of faith and leaving behind the dangerous lifestyle he once led.
Along the way, James encounters a pastor who challenges him to confront the demons of his past and seek forgiveness. With the help of the pastor and his community, James finds the strength to overcome his past and become a better man.
As he continues on his path of faith, James is able to raise enough money to pay for his daughter's treatment. The film ends with James embracing his family and looking toward a brighter future, grateful for the second chance he's been given.
